TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to our travel booking website. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our service. By using the website, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our service.

2. DEFINITIONS

  • “Service” refers to the travel booking platform provided through our website.

  • “User” refers to the person accessing or using our website.

  • “We” or “Our” refers to the company owning this website.

  • “Partner” refers to third parties involved in providing transportation services, such as drivers or transportation companies.

3. USE OF THE SERVICE

  • 3.1. The service is available only to individuals aged 18 and above. Minors may use it only under the supervision of a responsible adult.

  • 3.2. You must provide accurate information during booking, including pick-up location, drop-off location, date, time, and the number of passengers.

  • 3.3. Bookings are subject to availability and will only be confirmed after payment is processed.

  • 3.4. Bookings must be made at least 12 hours in advance. We cannot guarantee availability of a driver for bookings made within less than 12 hours of the desired pick-up time.

4. PAYMENTS

  • 4.1. Payments must be made using the options provided on the website.

  • 4.2. Booking fees are final and do not include additional expenses that may arise during the trip.

  • 4.3. Refund policies vary depending on the type of service and are outlined in the cancellation section.

5. CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES

  • 5.1. Cancellations must be requested at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund.

  • 5.2. Changes to dates or destinations are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • 6.1. We act as intermediaries and are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or any issues arising from the actions of transportation partners.

  • 6.2. In the event of unforeseen circumstances (such as extreme weather conditions or force majeure), service changes may occur. We will make reasonable efforts to notify the user.

7. PRIVACY

By using the service, you agree to our collection and use of data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. CHANGES TO THE TERMS

  • 8.1. We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notifications will be made through the website.

  • 8.2. Continued use of the service after changes implies agreement with the new terms.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This agreement is governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts.

10. IMPORTANT NOTES

Pick-ups at Airports

  • The driver will wait for free for 30 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time.

  • After this time, an additional fee may be charged depending on the selected vehicle.

Last-Minute Pick-ups

  • Bookings should be made at least 12 hours in advance.

  • Although it is possible to book a last-minute trip, we do not guarantee availability.

  • If you need a last-minute booking, please contact us first using the available contact details.

Driver Arrival and Delays

The driver will be at the pick-up location on time, except in cases of force majeure (e.g., traffic, vehicle issues, parking difficulties, etc.).

  • In such situations, the driver will contact the user in advance to inform them of the expected arrival time.

Giveaway – Premium Wine Tasting Experience

1. Organization & Duration

The giveaway is organized by Marafal Tours.

  • Entries are open until March 30.
  • The winner will be announced on March 31.

 

2. Participation Rules

To enter the giveaway, participants must:
✅ Follow Instagram/Facebook pages: @marafal.tours and @cabritawines.
✅ Share the giveaway post on their profile.
✅ Tag at least one person in the comments of the giveaway post.

➡️ Each comment with a tagged person counts as one entry into the giveaway.
➡️ Participants can comment multiple times, tagging different people each time.

3. Bonus Extra Entries

🔹 Participants who book a private trip or private tour on our website using the code GIVEAWAY will receive a 15% immediate discount  and 10 extra entries in the giveaway.
🔹 To validate these extra entries, participants must add their Instagram page name in the “Additional Information” field when completing the booking.

4. Winner Selection

🏆 The winner will be randomly selected using a giveaway platform.
✅ If the winner has made a valid booking, all extra entries will be counted before the final selection.

5. Prize

🎁 The winner will receive a Premium Wine Tasting Experience for 2 people at Cabrita Wines, including round-trip transfer.
📅 The winner can choose the date of the experience, subject to the winery’s availability.
⏳ Premium wine tastings are usually held in the afternoon.

6. General Conditions

⚠️ The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.
⚠️ If the winner cannot attend on the chosen date, they may reschedule based on winery availability, but they cannot transfer the prize to another person without prior authorization.
⚠️ The included transfer service is limited to the Algarve region (up to 30 km from the winery). Longer distances may incur additional costs.
⚠️ We reserve the right to modify or cancel the giveaway at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
